THE Wartime Leadership Podcast: The Resiliency of domestic abuse survivor, Bekah George. She has been a licensed mental health therapist for 14 years after receiving her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Liberty University. As a ‘Soul Care Specialist’ Bekah is the founding owner of Shear Vision Coaching where she uses her past experiences to help other’s find the best outcome from whatever life throws at them so they can live ‘On Purpose’ and level up in EVERY area of their life
During this episode, Bekah walks us through her definition of Spiritual Resilience her leadership perspective of first up and first out. Bekah takes us through a very trying time in her life where she was dealing with divorce, pain, and loneliness as she felt that she no longer had a calling in her life. She started making broken decisions letting her pain drive her further from God, as she felt she had sacrificed her calling on the altar of divorce. 8 years of bad decisions drove her to seek better. She was reminded to act like God’s creation. She learned to ‘come back to what you know to be true and not what you feel’. YOU really do matter. Remember, truth over emotions.
