Drea is a senior noncommissioned officer in the United States Air Force. but has now become a first-time author with the release of her book “SEEDS OF A SUNFLOWER: Poems of Growth”( https://amzn.to/3SFjIkm ). With her adulthood journey of 19 years, she has experienced plenty and has dealt with anxiety and P.T.S.D, but that hasn’t stopped her from producing poems as a form of therapy.
During this episode, Drea defines what and how spiritual resilience resonates in her life. She walks us through how poetry saved her life. During a time when Drea was traversing some of the most difficult circumstances and they started compounding on one another. Drea turned to poetry to navigate back to a level of sanity.
