THE Wartime Leadership Podcast: The Resiliency of Hurricane Harvey Hero Ashlee Leppert. Ashlee is a veteran with 14 years of active-duty service in the U.S. Coast Guard. Her primary duty was serving as an avionics electrical technician and flight mechanic instructor. Ashlee represented her crew well when she was invited to The State of the Union by request of President Trump. Ashlee is the author of “The Hurricane Within” (https://amzn.to/3Uk3XzY) which was written in hopes of inspiring others who might be navigating their own challenges and shows how faith as a Christian has been a firm foundation in Ashlee’s life.
During this episode, Ashlee and I have an amazing conversation about how she defines Spiritual Resilience in her life and what that looks like. She explains the physical and emotional battles she dealt with while working feverishly during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. We talk about the State of the Union experience, as well as, how her leadership style has developed through years of struggle. Thank you, Ashlee, for a very incredible peak behind the curtain of your life and struggles and how you continue to rely on your relationship with God to navigate those struggles.
