THE Wartime Leadership Podcast: The Resiliency of U.S. Air Force Chaplain, First Lieutenant David Eudy. David serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserve Command and is currently assigned to Columbus AFB, Mississippi. He serves all Department of Defense members and families across a large geographic area. He assists with projects, worship services weekly activities, and other spiritual care events. Additionally, he serves as the Character Development Officer within the Civil Air Patrol Chaplain Corp. He is endorsed by the North American Mission Board with the Southern Baptist Convention as a missionary for the military. He has served in various church ministries with his wife, Rachel. He serves as a worship leader, guitarist, and young adults paster at his home church, Journey Church of Summerville, SC.
During this episode, my friend David and I have an in-studio discussion about how he defines Spiritual Resilience in all aspects of his life. David opens up about the stresses of his position and balancing his military commitment with his civilian obligation managing a local South Carolina plant nursery. He discusses his obligation in serving the military community and ensuring their spiritual wellbeing while not compromising his faith. He lives out his own daily mission of being a “Chaplin to all, but a servant of one”.
