THE Wartime Leadership Podcast: The Resiliency of Resilient Man Project’s Jonathan York! Born in south Atlanta in the early 1980’s, he remembers drugs and alcohol playing a dominant role in his life. Johnathan watched his mother fight addiction till it ultimately took her life and the life of his sister from an overdose. Addiction came at Jonathan with a vengeance and forced him into divorce, homelessness, penniless, and ultimately landed him in prison for 3 years…but that was just the start of a transformational period! He began practicing visualization and building a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Since being released from prison, Jonathan met and married the love of his life and added a daughter to their developing family. He built a career and now owns two businesses. As a husband and father to a blended family of five this is just the beginning of his “, but God” story. He now lives out his purpose and passion of impacting lives and teaching a positive and resilient mindset.
